Like any good RPG, Vampire The Masquerade allows you to choose an avatar for your character from a number of different models, both male and female. The species of vampire you choose will, to some extent, dictate what sort of player you’ll be in the game. And um as well.

It’s difficult to suppress a smile when you’re slinking through alleys, vaulting over high walls and slitting the throats of your vampire and supernatural foes, or going in gun’s blazing with your Uzi and katana combo! I think combat in this game is very good, however weapons need to be equilibrated (your plain fists seem to deal more damage than a knife). I Love THIS Match! And I suggest it as a ought to get to any Vampire enthusiast. For all the other people, I suggest this game to Some of the cutscene animations are blocky at greatest, and the voices are often moments out of sinc with the bodies. Not to refer to the people themselves really don’t stroll like they are or exactly where human. The game brings together RPG and action aspects, which is often enjoyable and interesting, but… It expects you to react as well rapidly for an RPG, and the way numbers are crunched will annoy action players.

The game generally feels _adult_, not in the sense in which the term is often used (where it could as easily be termed ‘juvenile’) but in a willingness to recognize shades of gray and handle uncomfortable topics without flinching.Now I hear the game shipped with all sorts of bugs and loose-ends but the fan community has released some excellent patches and I’ve yet to experience any game-stopping bugs. I had never played a vampire game, computer or otherwise before I played this game. I do like vampires though.
The quests are typically quite involving/fascinating — with some really difficult boss fights in opposition to quite exclusive figures. Bloodlines is a very excellent game, and, with this in thoughts, it really is really a disgrace that a much better developer or, probably a lot more talented programmers didn’t manage it. However, I don’t see many problems with them.
